Anderson Connectivity Receives FAA Part 145 Repair Station Certificate

MELBOURNE, FL – January 28, 2021 – Anderson Connectivity, the leading Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) provider in the Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) sector, has obtained a Federal Aviation Administration Part 145 Repair Station Certificate focused on servicing and repair of IFEC components.

“This key certification underscores Anderson Connectivity’s canonical understanding of the full lifecycle of satellite antenna systems,” says Brian Anderson, Founder & President of Anderson Connectivity. “Having the Part 145 certification solidifies our three-pillar business model of designing, producing, and servicing components in the IFEC and other mobility markets.”

Since 2005, Anderson Connectivity has provided subject-matter expertise in IFEC system design and certification to key players in the commercial and business aviation industries. As a Non-Certificated Maintenance Source for the past decade, the company has helped integrators, OEMs, and airlines improve turn-around times and manage repair costs by integrating feedback of critical repair findings into product design, sustaining, and production cycles.

With the attainment of its own Part 145 Certificate, which includes Limited Accessory and Limited Airframe ratings, Anderson Connectivity is fully authorized, staffed, and capitalized to add capabilities for the repair and return-to-service activities of any IFEC components installed on any airframe. The Company’s authorization to work away from its fixed location allows further flexibility to customers requiring on-wing support in remote locations.

“Combined with our existing AS9100D quality-management certification,” says Anderson, “the Part 145 Certificate also allows us to help customers realize accelerated, cost-effective market entry and product sustainability in an increasingly competitive IFEC environment.”

Anderson Connectivity has the experience and certifications to deliver excellence across all aspects of IFEC system design, development, testing, certification, production, and repair—as well as troubleshooting and repair of installed IFEC systems.
